Biographical / Historical

Carole Kismaric was born April 28, 1942 in Orange, New Jersey and graduated from Pennsylvania State University. She was an author and editor, best known for her work on photography books. She helped create the Time-Life Photography Series, and was editorial director for the Aperture Foundation. Kismaric was married to illustrator Charles Mikolaycak. She died in 2002.
