Biographical Sketch

Margery Kay Blaine was born in 1937 in New York, New York. She received a BA from Brooklyn College in 1958. She did graduate study at the University of Colorado, the New School for Social Research, Cornell University, and the Brooklyn Museum Art School. She began her career as a kindegarten teacher, later becoming a children's book author.
