Biographical / Historical

Marjorie Allen was born December 8, 1931, in Manchester, NH. She graduated from Smith College and was appointed as the instructor of continuing education in writing for children at the Berkshire Community College in 1976. Allen published several books for children, including The Remarkable Ride of Israel Bissel as Related by Molly the Cow(1976), Farley, Are You for Real? (1976), co-written with her son Carl, The Marble Cake Cat(1977), and One, Two, Three, Ah-Choo! (1980).
