Biographical / Historical

Candace Fleming was born on May 24, 1962 and earned her B.A. in history from Eastern Illinois University. Fleming published her first children's book, Professor Fergus Fahrenheit and His Wonderful Weather Machine, in 1994. She has published both picture books and chapter books, including an award-winning book on the Russian Revolution, titled The Family Romanov. Fleming resides in Illinois.
