Biographical / Historical
Patricia Calvert is an author of novels for young adults. She was born In Great Falls, Montana in 1931 and was raised in rural Montana during the Depression. She attended Winona State University in Minnesota, receiving her B.A. in 1976. It wasn't until her children were grown and had left home that Calvert began writing. Her first novel, The Snowbird,was published in 1980.
