Catherine Leuthold Fuller was born December 31, 1916 in Bucyrus, Ohio. She received degrees from Mount Holyoke College, B.A. and Oberlin College, M.A.. She has worked as an art historian at Dudley Peter Allen Memorial Art Museum of Oberlin College and at the National Gallery of Art, Washington D. C..
