Biographical / Historical

(James) Edgar Parker Jr. was born August 12, 1925. His main career was as a graphic artist. He wrote and illustrated children's books. Parker died in 1982.

Some of the material in this collection was originally given to Dr. Irvin Kerlan, who donated it to the University of Minnesota. Edgar Parker later donated additional material to the collection.
