Biographical / Historical

Tana Hoban was born in Philadelphia in 1917 and has made her career as an author, illustrator, photographer and artist. She wrote and illustrated (often through photographs) over 50 books for juveniles, including nonfiction works and wordless picture books. Hoban died in 2006.
