Biographical / Historical

Jayne Pettit was born May 23, 1932 and has worked as an educator and writer. In 1997 the National Council for Social Studies and the Children's Book Council named A Time to Fight BackNotable Children's Trade Book in the Field of Social Studies. It is a compilation of stories about courageous acts of young people from different countries during World War II.
