Biographical / Historical

Tillie Schloss Pine was born March 4, 1896 in Poland. She came to United States in 1905 and became a naturalized citizen in 1913. She married Nathan Pine in 1924. Mrs. Pine attended New York Training School for Teachers. Her career included teaching, consulting, and director of a day camp. She wrote for juveniles. Tillie S. Pine died in 1999.
