Biographical / Historical

Valerie Worth was born on October 29, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She earned her B.A. in Swarthmore College in 1955. She spent her career as a poet and author, with her first book, The Crone's Book of Works, being published in 1971. She is best known for her "small poems" for children. She died in 1994.
