Scope and Contents
The collection contains illustrative material for ten titles illustrated by Spilka (some which he also wrote), and includes dummies, illustrations and sketches in a variety of media, some with separations, and double page spreads, some with text overlay.

Arnold Spilka was born November 13, 1917, in New York, NY, and followed a career as sculptor, painter, and writer and illustrator of children's books. He died in 2002.
