The collection contains editorial and production files related to works written by Godwin under the name Nola Buck, as well as items related to her career as an editor, including several dummies from illustrators such as Leonid Gore, Roesemary Wells, Denise Fleming, and William Low. The collection also contains a folder of correspondence and handouts related to two Children's Book Council editing courses fromm the early 2000s.

Biographical / Historical
Laura Godwin is an editor and author. She was raised in Alberta, Canada and currently works as an editor for MacMillan, where she has her own imprint, Godwin Books, under Henry Holt Books for Young Readers. Her children's books have been published under her own name, as well as the pseudonym Nola Buck. She lives in New York City.
