Ephemera Collection
Scope and Content
The collection includes press clippings and playbills (bulk), as well as some correspondence, manuscripts excerpts/short drafts, stickers, review slips, and other ephemera related to African-American history and culture. Subjects range from individuals and organizations, to artistic works or historical events. Some materials are collected according to item type as well (such as stickers, stamps, review slips, etc). Colllection is arranged alphabetically.

Collection was established by Givens collection archivists, curators, and staff. Matertials are acquired by staff and added to the collection intermittently.
