HISTORICAL SKETCH
The Zveza "Lilija" Wisconsin (Alliance "Lily" of Wisconsin), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was created as a mutual fraternal benefit organization in late 1934 and early 1935. The organization was open to Slavs and non-Slavs; most of its members were Slovene. It was devoted to providing an economic service to its members, and prohibited partisan political and religious activities. It apparently merged with the Slovene National Benefit Society in 1946.
