Abstract

Papers (1950-1986) of Oleksander Kaniuka consist of a sketchbook of original and sample versions of his graphic art works; exhibit catalogs; and newspaper clippings, as well as works used for flyers, newsletters, bulletins, and diplomas. Subjects include Ukrainian American community activities, Kaniuka's experiences in prison during 1931-1933, political cartoons on Ukraine during its occupation and struggle for independence.
