Interpreter Releases records
Abstract
Interpreter Releases began publication in 1923 under the auspices of the Foreign Language and Information Service, which later became the Common Council for American Unity and, eventually, the American Council for Nationalities Services. It contained information on immigration law, quotas, immigrant services, and more, and it was provided to social workers, service organizations, and libraries, among others. Recently, the publication was purchased by Federal Publications Inc. and is still being published by that company.
