HISTORICAL SKETCH
A prominent Ukrainian American lawyer, Denys Kwitkowsky (1909- ) was born in Sheriwci, Ukraine. He was educated at the University of Chernivtsi, the University of Berlin, and Wayne State University. He practiced law in Chernivtsiand Bucharest. After coming to the United States, he settled in Detroit, Michigan, where he practiced law and wrote many articles in both professional journals and in the Ukrainian press. He also participated in Ukrainian American and professional organizations.
