HISTORICAL SKETCH
Vincent la Capria (1899-1965) was born in Palmi, Reggio Calabria, Italy, and came to the United States in 1905. A labor leader, he was vice president of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America, and was active in civic and charitable organizations such as ACIM and Boystown of Italy.
