Abstract
The collection (1904-1967) of Finnish Socialist Organizations, West Coast chapters, comprises minutes; financial records; membership records; correspondence; stock certificates; music manuscripts, sheet music and playscripts from ten Finnish Socialist organizations active in California or Oregon. The organizations are: Berkeley Suomalinen Toveri Yhdistys (Berkeley Finnish Comrade Association (Berkeley, California); Berkeley (California) Finnish Cultural Club; the International Workers' Organization (Berkeley, California); the Finnish American Cultural Society;the Fort Bragg (California) Toveri Club; the Portland (Oregon) Toveri Yhdistys (Finnish Comrade Association); the Rocklin (California) Labor Temple Association; the Socialist Party of America (West Berkeley, California); the Toveri Yhdistys (West Berkeley, California); and the West Berkeley (California) Suomalainen Sosialisti Osasto (West Berkeley Finnish Socialist Chapter).
