HISTORICAL SKETCH
The Order Sons of Italy in America, Uguaglianza Lodge No. 83 was founded in the Bronx, N.Y. in 1911. Led by Luigi Antonini, the Lodge joined the schismatic group, Sons of Italy Grand Lodge, Inc. from 1925 to 1943 and then returned to the Order.
