Abstract
The Albert Chenet Order Sons of Italy in America, Pennsylvania Grand Lodge collection (1941-1978) includes Grand convention books (1967-1977), Grand Council minutes and correspondence (1976-1978), testimontial dinner booklets (1941-1972), photographs of flood damage in Italy, and newspaper clippings.

HISTORICAL SKETCH
Albert Chenet served as chairman of the Order Sons of Italy in America Pennsylvania Grand Lodge Mortuary Fund Committee (1939-1941) and as 3rd and 1st Assistant Grand Venerable (1967-1977). Born in Cencinighe (Belluno) he came to America in 1921 and established his residence in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Married to Katherine (nee Rizzo) in 1925, the Chenets had two children: Alberta (Mrs. Samuel Farls) and Albert A., graduate of St. Vincent's Preparatory Scholl and now attending Carnegie Institute of technology. Albert Chenet was born on August 12, 1895, died on April 1, 1978.
