HISTORICAL SKETCH
Louis Costa (1890-1976) was born in Caulonia, Calabria, Italy, and came to West Virginia at the age of fourteen. He served the Order Sons of Italy in America West Virginia Grand Lodge as First Assistant Grand Venerable (1973-1975), Grand Orator (1935-1941), Grand Trustee (1933-1935), and President of the Mortuary Fund (1948-1969).
