Abstract

Materials documenting the organizational and social life of Italian Americans active in their societies in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis / Saint Paul, Minnesota area, namely in the Stella del Nord chapter of the American Italian Historical Association and the UNICO Twin Cities chapter. Correspondence, meeting agendas and minutes, membership lists, treasure's reports, calendars produced by the chapters during the 1980s. Included is also a complete set of the "Notizie: an email newsletter for Italian Americans, Italians and Italophiles," a monthly newsletter edited by Celeste Raspanti (with Jeff Rossi), 2003-2013. Two buttons from the Columbus Day Parade in 1987 sponsored by the Coalition of Italian American Organizations (CIAO). In addition to the Italian American-related documentation, there is a folder of materials pertaining to the Southeast Asian refugees in the 1980s - reports and articles, educational workshop materials and a map of Southeast Asia.
