Frank Provenzano (Order Sons of Italy in America, New York Lodge Il Sole No. 52) papers
Abstract
Frank Provenzano founded lodge Il Sole No. 52 of the Order Sons of Italy in America in New York, which was chartered on September 6, 1910. He wrote the play "L'Avvenire dei Figli D'Italia" or "The Future of the Sons of Italy " which was presented by the lodge in New York City in 1913. Provenzano was the Venerable of the Lodge at that time. Collection consists of a printed copy of the script and its English translation (handwritten). Included are also brief historical sketches concerning the Il Sole Lodge, and 1920 By-Laws signed by Gaetano Falantano.
