HISTORICAL SKETCH
The Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Church (later Faith Lutheran Church) of Worcester, Massachusetts (57 Laurel Street) , was founded in 1894 by immigrants to the area from Finland. After the retirement of Rev. Viljo Heiman on October 14, 1977, the congregation was disbanded, and the last service was held on December 24, 1978. The church building was sold on March 20, 1979, to the North American Islamic Trust, Inc.
