April 8, 1896 (Raasiku, Harju county, Estonia) – December 20, 1938 (Dodge, MN USA) Parents: Jaan and Kai Santluk. Also known as: August Sarn, August Sandluck. Secretary of the American Estonian Union (1934). Member of editorial board of Meie Tee magazine in New York, published by the Estonian Educational Society. Deputy chairman of the Chicago Estonian Society.

Collection was processed and described as part of a collaborative project between the Estonian Archives in the USA (Lakewood, New Jersey), the National Archives of Estonia (NAE), and the IHRC Archives in September 2016. Pille Aguraiuja and Külli Niidassoo of the National Archives in Tallinn, Estonia, worked with IHRCA staff on the project.
