Biographical / Historical
December 14, 1927 (Laheda parish, Põlva county, Estonia) – December 12, 2005 (Blaine, WA USA). Lived in San Francisco, where he was a member of the Estonian Auxiliary Airforce Boys (Eesti Lennuväepoiste Klubi) and director of Baltic American Freedom League (Balti Ameerika Vabaduse Liiga). Treasurer of the West Coast section of academic corporation Ugala, board member and bookkeeper of Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church of San Francisco (EELK San Francisco Kogudus), member of Estonian Center of Northern California, and Legion of Estonian Liberation, San Francisco branch. Vice president of Estonian League of the West Coast.

Collection transferred to the IHRC from the Estonian Archives in the U.S.A. (EAU) in 2003-2005.
Processing Information
Collection was processed and described as part of a collaborative project between the Estonian Archives in the USA (Lakewood, New Jersey), the National Archives of Estonia (NAE), and the IHRC Archives in September 2016. Pille Aguraiuja and Külli Niidassoo of the National Archives in Tallinn, Estonia, worked with IHRCA staff on the project.
