YMCA Archives scrapbook collection
SCOPE AND CONTENTS OF THE COLLECTION
The YMCA scrapbook collection consists of scrapbooks and photo albums that include images, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, programs, correspondence, and miscellaneous ephemera that document prominent individuals, groups, buildings, athletics and physical education programs, military work, international travels, and other events and programs related to the YMCA.
The scrapbooks primarily document the YMCA movement in the United States. But, due to the United States YMCA’s international work, the collection includes material about various YMCAs around the world.
