The collection contains correspondence, catalog drafts and proofs, catalog source materials and photographs of the Minnesota 1900: Art and Life on the Upper Mississippi, 1890-1915 exhibit presented by the Minneapolis Institute of Arts in 1994. The materials in this collection document the buildings and architecture presented in the exhibition and exhibition catalog.

Historical Note
Minnesota 1900: Art and Life on the Upper Mississippi, 1890-1915 was an exhibit at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts in 1994. The exhibit displayed architectural drawings and elements, paintings, furniture, lighting devices, ceramics, metalwork and objects made by local Native Americans documenting life of residents along the upper Mississippi from 1890-1915.
