Biographical Note
Louis Pinault was born on December 29, 1889 in St. Joseph, Minnesota. He attended St. Cloud Normal School, the University of Minnesota and the University of Illinois, where he earned his architecture degree in 1914. He was a partner in Mann & Pinault, Architects (1915-1922) and beginning in 1922, he was an independent architect based in St. Cloud. Pinault designed many of the secondary schools in central Minnesota and buildings for St. Cloud State University, the city of St. Cloud, Stearns County and the St. Cloud Catholic Diocese.
Louis Pinault died on February 19, 1980.
