Biographical Note

Arthur Barrett Dunham was born on September 9, 1887 in Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois, graduating with a degree in architecture in 1911. Arthur Dunham died on November 2, 1972.

Engelbret H. Sund was born in 1880. He was educated in Norway before immigrating to the United States. Engelbret Sund died on May 30, 1938.

Arthur Dunham and Engelbret Sund became partners in 1911 and started the Sund & Dunham architectural firm in Minneapolis. During their partnership, they were responsible for designing schools, churches and sanitarium hospitals in the Twin Cities area.
