Biographical Note

Edmund J. Prondzinski was born September 20, 1887. Nothing is known of his early life and education, but he likely graduated from the University of Minnesota. He spent much of his early career working with Bertrand and Chamberlin, and succeeded their practice when they left the firm. He maintained his own firm for a number of years afterward, and produced a large number of building designs concentrating on educational facilities and apartment houses.

Prondzinski died in Minneapolis, June 1967.
