Biographical Note
Andrew H. Foss, a Norwegian immigrant born in 1874, was an architect in central Minnesota. In 1918, his architectural firm, Foss & Foss Architects, which he operated with his son Magnus, moved to St. Cloud, Minnesota. Andrew Foss died in 1921.
Magnus O. Foss, born in 1896, continued in St. Cloud and Minneapolis after his father's death, until 1962, when he moved his firm, Foss Associates Architecture Engineering & Interiors, to the Fargo-Moorhead area. M.O. Foss was the founder and national secretary-treasurer of the Society of American Registered Architects. M.O. Foss died in 1988.
