Andrews Hotel collection
Scope and Content Note
The collection includes interior and exterior photographs of the construction and early occupancy stages of the initial phase (1911) plus souvenir brochures and postcards. There also 17 sheets of plans, elevations and details (blueprints) for the 1916 addition.

Historical Note
The Andrews Hotel was erected in downtown Minneapolis in two phases by the H. L. Stevens Company. The first portion was completed in 1912 and a large addition was built in 1916. The hotel was a favorite of businessmen for many years. Late in its existence it housed a number of permanent residents. The building was demolished in 1986.
