Scope and Content Note
The collection is composed of blueprints by Carl B. Stravs for the Church Home of Minnesota addition, located at 1879 Feronia Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota, as well as plans for the Wright residence at Lake Carlos, Alexandria, Minnesota.

Biographical Note
Carl B. Stravs was an architect in Minneapolis, Minnesota during the 20th century. From 1905-1909, he partnered with John Jager, with whom he patented a pipe-making machine in 1904. Stravs designed many residences and churches in the Minneapolis area, including the Emil Geist residence and the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity house at the University of Minnesota.
