Scope and Content Note
The bulk of the collection consists of presentation boards used in the awards displays; there are business records consisting of Board meeting minutes and memos, along with some committee reports and Award Banquet planning materials. There is a small subset of materials from the Society for Design Administraion (SDA) which was housed in the MASLA offices.
When the award for which the board was created is known it is listed; there are many boards listed by project only, and the award for which they were submitted is not known.

Historical Note
MASLA is the former title of the organization now known as ASLA-MN, the Minnesota Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). The organization represents nearly 300 professionals in the landscape architecture profession through advocacy, education, communication, and fellowship. ASLA, the national organization, has more than 18,000 members and 48 chapters, representing all 50 states, U.S. territories, and 42 countries around the world.
