Biographical Note

Tessie Bundick is a local Twin Cities makeup artist with a broad and varied career. She worked several local films, including "Old Explorers" and "Purple Haze," as well as radio programs such as Prairie Home Companion. She is also known as a costume designer and has costumed theater artists, models for book covers (including books by Bethany House Publishers), and actors in advertising. She worked with many famous local and national celebrities, including River Phoenix, Emmy Lou Harris, Garrison Keillor, Chet Atkins, the Everly Brothers, Jose Ferrar, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. and President Barack Obama. Bundick has also taught makeup courses at the University of Minnesota.
