Scope and Content Note
The collection contains minutes, correspondence, legal documents, working papers, clippings, programs, financial reports, production material, newsletters, committee reports, a scrapbook with newspaper clippings, photographs and play bills pertaining to the Fridley Footlighters Theater group. Posters and personnel cards are also included in the collection.

Historical Note
In 1959 the Fridley Women's Club organized a small volunteer theater troupe under the name of The Little Theater group. Shortly thereafter, the group was renamed the Footlighters and incorporated as a non-profit organization. The Footlighters offered three plays during a standard season. One was performed at at Thanksgiving, a children's play was performed mid-winter, and a comedy was performed in the spring.
