Biographical Note

Steven Rydberg is a composer and visual artist in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His chamber music has been performed at the Bergen International Music Festival, The New York Chamber Music Festival, The Academy of Arts and Sciences, The Chautauqua Festival, and the Aspen Music Festival. He has also composed for numerous theater and ballet productions, including performances with the Guthrie Theater, The Jungle Theater, Ballet of the Dolls, and the Children's Theatre Company. Along with composition, Rydberg is also an active visual artist, and has designed for theater companies, such as the Children's Theatre Company, as well as The New York Times, Rolling Stone, USA Today, and Random House. His artwork is catalogued in the collections of The Art Institute of Chicago, The Minneapolis Art Institute, The Weisman Art Museum, and the Plains Art Museum.
