Alworth family papers
The collection consists of two series: correspondence and photographs. This collection shows only a small segment of the Alworth family business.
American Land and Timber Company records
The collection contains articles of incorporation, May 1911; minutes of the Board of Directors; an account ledger, 1911-1929; two cashbooks, 1911-1929; a tract book describing the land owned, its location, and the amount and quality of timber; and two maps of the area. Also included are stock certificates, 1919-1920.
Arrowhead Electric Cooperative records
The collection contains annual reports, 1964-1968, and the newsletter, Hy-Line By-Line,1964-1969.
Julius H. Barnes papers
The collection contains correspondence, financial materials, articles, pamphlets, photographs, news clippings, sketchbooks, a tape recording, and miscellaneous reference materials. Most of the records originate from the period between 1940-1958 and document Barnes' financial interests and his involvement in the St. Lawrence Seaway project. Some personal correspondence is also included.
Brainerd-Cuyuna Mining Company records
The collection contains land leases, land lots and prices marked on township grid maps, description of the Brainerd-Cuyuna Mine and operating expenses.
Bud's advertising scrapbooks
The collection consists exclusively of dismantled scrapbooks of the newspaper advertisements bought by Bud’s from 1946-1978 in Duluth newspapers, and an occasional mail order brochure from the shop.

Also included are family correspondence, photographs, and news clippings, and clippings, correspondence, and photographs related to the Ralph Plaisted Polar Expedition.
Heimbach Family papers
The collection consists of three photographs and one business ledger. The photographs are a portrait of William P. Heimbach, one image of Duluth and Superior lumbermen at an outing at Namekan Lake Sept 5-7, 1919, the Virginia & Rainy Lake Co., and employees of the Endion Lumber Co, about 1920. The one volume ledger is from the Heimbach Lumber Company cover March through July, 1883.
History of Business Development in Duluth oral history interviews
The interviews in this project document the history of Duluth area businesses and labor unions. Narrators comment, where appropriate, on the founding and growth of carious businesses or labor organizations, the formation of corporate policies, labor – management relations, urban renewal, union philosophy and strategy, government regulation, binding arbitrations, and the relationship of business and labor political and civic affairs.
Hotel Duluth collection
The collection consists of letterheads, proofs for brochures, proofs for logos, one floor plan, floor plan of ballroom, photographic prints, a program from a Fashion Show held May 31, 1952, and six photo transparencies of the windows of the former Black Bear Lounge in the Hotel Duluth.
