Duluth Civilian Defense Council records
The collection contains correspondence, bulletins, publications, news clippings, scrapbooks, photographs, posters, personnel lists, and other reference materials from the war activities of the organization. The records were collected from a variety of sources, such as the Duluth Public Library, the War History Division of the Duluth Civilian Defense Council, and individuals. Parts of the collection, therefore, are sporadic and incomplete.
Duluth Health Department records
The collection contains minutes of the Duluth Board of Health (4/18/1873-1908) with no index, correspondence, a scrapbook containing sample forms used by the department, quarantine signs, an analysis of vital statistics (1900-1937), infant mortality report (1948-1957), a report on a compulsory submission tuberculosis report (1938), and distribution of death reports (1948-1953).
