Julius H. Barnes papers
The collection contains correspondence, financial materials, articles, pamphlets, photographs, news clippings, sketchbooks, a tape recording, and miscellaneous reference materials. Most of the records originate from the period between 1940-1958 and document Barnes' financial interests and his involvement in the St. Lawrence Seaway project. Some personal correspondence is also included.
George G. Barnum, Sr. Civil War letters
The collection consists of letters from Barnum to his parents, sisters and brothers. Seven of the items are not written by George Barnum, Sr., of those seven, four are letters from George Stowits, one is called "general orders", one is called "general orders #66" and one is a "message to 24th corps from Major General John Gibbon."

This collection consists of photocopied family papers of Clinton and Julia Brooke who lived in the Lester Park neighborhood of Duluth. The copies include photographs, letters, some newspaper articles, and a Lester Park cookbook for time period of 1901-1912.

The collection consists of a diary written from Friday, February 28, 1919 to May 18, 1919. Brown was in France from June 27, 1918, but the diary only covers his time in France from February 28, 1919 to April 19, 1919. He left France April 19, 1919.
Bryant Elementary School PTA records
The collection consists of two record books for the years 1954-1967 and 1968-1973. The volumes contain handwritten minutes of P.T.A. meetings, budgets, and tables which include teachers' names, room numbers, and grades taught.
Paul Buffalo oral history project
Oral history project of Dr. Timothy Roufs interviewing Paul P. Buffalo (1900-6/1977) from March 1967 – 1977. Mr. Buffalo resided at Ball Club, Minnesota, and the Leech Lake Reservation.
Edward H. and Jennie V. Burger family papers
These family papers include letters between Edward Burger and Jennie Gabie before they married, family letters, young Ethel’s letters to “Papa”, references to Burger businesses “Burger & Myer Soaps”, “Burger & Burger Fuel and Feed”; a patent by Edward called Perfect Pencil Pockets; family photographs, and portrait photographs showing the three children from infancy to adulthood. Ethel Louise Burger Carrillo (1890-1963), or her family, had kept these papers.

The collection consists of family photographs, papers, and a scrapbook primarily documenting the life of Gayle Thoreson Carlson (d. 2000), and her husband Carl E. Carlson (d. 1992), as well as information on Proctor, Minnesota and the Cozy Café.
Gust and Hanna Carlson family home photographs
The collection contains one bound volume of 53 exterior and interior black and white silver gelatin 8x10 photographs by L. P. Gallagher from 1941 of the Carlson house and furnishings at 202 North 24th Avenue East, Duluth, Minnesota, small hand-drawn floor plans of the basement and three floors, one 5x7 photograph of the house under construction with the workmen in 1910, and a detail of an undated photograph identified as architect Robert Lobecke.
Matthew Carroll letter to Agnes Kinnisch
The collection consists of a single letter, dated May 2nd, 1883, to Agnes Kinnisch from Matthew Carroll or Mrs. Carroll. The letter concerns allegations made against Miss Kinnisch's character and confirms the Carrolls' positive experiences with Miss Kinnisch while she was employed as their domestic servant.
E. R. Cobb Elementary School memorabilia

There are two copy negatives, one of Eloise at the time of her marriage in 1903, and one of her as a elderly woman. There are photocopies of the two photographs which were lent by the family for copying.
