The collection contains two folders of papers, one of personal papers (1905-1964), and one of employment records, local and state health department reports, and correspondence (1904-1941). Folder two holds December 30, 1927 letters about "disposal of dairy products from the Louis Jacobson farm in Cotton Township where a typhoid fever case developed."
Heimbach Family papers
The collection consists of three photographs and one business ledger. The photographs are a portrait of William P. Heimbach, one image of Duluth and Superior lumbermen at an outing at Namekan Lake Sept 5-7, 1919, the Virginia & Rainy Lake Co., and employees of the Endion Lumber Co, about 1920. The one volume ledger is from the Heimbach Lumber Company cover March through July, 1883.

The collection consists of a manuscript titled "75 Years Later." It describes Ms. Hugo's final months in the Hugo family home in 1957 and her attempt to clear the house of 75 years of family possessions. The essay uses these possessions to recount a family history.

The collection consists of digital recordings of interviews of Erling Jonassen by Stephanie Hemphill conducted in November 2008, focusing on his World War II experiences. In addition to these recordings the collection includes a printed transcript of the interviews (9 pages), a digital copy and printed transcript (3 pages) of a Minnesota Public Radio program by Stephanie Hemphill featuring Erling Jonassen, and digital copies of photographs provided by Mr. Jonassen.
