Scope and Contents The collection consists primarily of black and white and color photographs by a photojournalist employed by a Duluth newspaper. The photographs are of the city of Duluth, events, people, as well as the northeast Minnesota area primarily from 1971, 1982-1990s; many are not dated and unidentified. A group of approximately 130 Duluth and Duluth-Superior harbor, black and white, 4x5 film negatives from about 1957 are also part of the collection. All of the negatives are aerial shots. Abstract The collection consists of one videotape. Bob Baldwin of the local chapter of the NAACP officiated at the dedication and arranged for the proceedings to be taped. The video, entitled Deterred but not Defeated, contains a documentary filmed at Park Hill Cemetery where stones were placed to acknowledge the victims of the 1920 lynchings in Duluth.

Abstract Contains materials from a Spring 2012 University for Seniors study group course, History of Duluth Women’s Organizations, led by Tina Welsh.The collection includes 11 video recordings of presentations by volunteers and professionals from women’s organizations in Duluth, Minnesota and a printed syllabus for the course.
Scope and Contents The collection includes four scrapbooks containing photographs, clippings, invitation and thank you cards, duty charts, and handwritten logs by the student residents. Scrapbooks are from the years 1945, 1952, 1957-1958, and 1966. There is a single photograph of the living-dining area in the new (1965) Home Economics building on the UMD campus.

These Articles of the non-profit 501 (c ) (3) state its purpose is to establish a legal defense fund available to local women initiating legal remedies towards the elimination of sex discrimination encountered in their places of employment. The registered office shall be located in the City of Duluth, County of St. Louis, State of Minnesota. It is not clear if the nonprofit corporation functioned.
