Papers consist of newspaper clippings, photographs, sheet music, and pamphlets. Much of the material relates to the history of the Virginia and Pike-Sandy regions in northeastern Minnesota, including the Pike Evangelical Lutheran Church. Included are also three artefacts (aluminium potato pancake pan, wooden spoon, and white cloth purse)
Meeting minutes, financial records, correspondence. Sponsoring organizations included: American-Finnish Civic Association of Virginia, Finlandia Foundation - Virginia Chapter, Good Shepherd Ladies Aid, Knights of Kaleva, Ladies of Kaleva, Suomi Kerho, Zion Chapel Ladies Aid.

Records consist of correspondence, meeting agendas and miuntes, membership lists, invitations, posters, and material on the Hungarian American actress Zita Szeletszky and other personalities of Hungarian and Hungarian American life. Substantial parts of this collection are available only as photocopies; originals returned to donors.
Collection consists of family and personal correspondence, photographs, event program brochures and flyers, and newspaper clippings about Olexa Bulavitsky and his artwork, exhibits, etc.
Karvonen composed numerous works for organ, piano, choir, band, orchestra, chamber groups, solo voice, and solo instruments, the sheet music for which comprises the collection. Included are also materials containing biographical information, correspondence, research notes, and concert programs.
Collection consists of correspondence, Displaced Persons documentation, notebooks, newsletters, newspaper clippings and event memorabilia.
