American Fund for Czechoslovak Refugees, (New York, New York) records
Records consist of organizational correspondence, meeting minutes, annual reports and case files produced by the New York headquarters, and also materials generated by the AFCR field offices both in the United States and in Europe. In addition to the assistance provided to refugees from the former Czechoslovakia, the records include documentation of the AFCR resettlement work with refugees from other parts of the world in the late 1970s and 1980s.
American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) records
Collection contains bound correspondence pertaining to the local chapters of AHEPA for the period of 1922-1950 (Series 1). Additional organizational records including supreme convention minutes (1929-1980), convention summary minutes (1925-1981), yearbooks (1936-1981), the AHEPAN magazine (1927-1981), lists of officers, and death records were microfilmed. Selected microfilm reels were digitized in 2021 and are available under Subseries 1 of Series 2.
