Abstract

Papers (1970-1971) of Jaroslav Bohdan Rudnyckyj consist of materials on the Manitoba Mosaic Congress (Oct. 13-17, 1970), the Royal Commission on Bilingualism and Biculturism in Canada, and copies of newspaper clippings pertaining to the Congress and Commission. The Congress is an organization whose purpose is to study the problems of ethnic groups in Canada. Rudnyckyj contributed recommendations and reactions to the Commission's study of the status of ethnic languages in Canada.

Papers (1950-1965) of Chegensky include correspondence and materials pertaining to the Union of the Ukrainian Community Centers in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, the Ukrainian Canadian Committee, and the Ukrainian Self-Reliance League of Canada.

Papers (1950-1970) of Julian Sochocky include leaflets, programs, announcements, periodicals, and newspaper clippings pertaining to Ukraine, Ukrainian Americans, and Ukrainian-Canadians. Materials also pertain to Cardinal Joseph Slipyj, Galicia, Polish-Galician affairs, Taras Shevchenko, and religious matters. The bulk of this collection is composed of newspaper clippings.
