National Organization for Women (Minnesota) records
The collection contains minutes, annual/chapter reports, membership list, correspondence, news releases, by-laws, legislative platforms, resolutions, committee proposals and minutes, state conference information, bus trips to the capitol, photographs, information from related organizations, miscellaneous, newspaper clippings, and oversized posters. Materials from both the Duluth, Minnesota chapter and the statewide, Minnesota, organization are represented in the collection.
Ethel Lindberg Nelson papers
The collection consists of examination records of Ethel Lindberg when she was a young student and evaluations and classroom teaching materials from the 1930s when she served as a rural school teacher.
Newspapers special issues
This collection contains special issues of newspapers pertinent to local history, covering a variety of topics such as anniversary or dedicatory occasions and so forth.
Norrgard Anishinaabe Collection Waasa Inaabidaa Archives
Contains video interviews and transcripts, scenic video footage, and dramatic re-enactment video footage for production of a six-part public television documentary about the history and culture of Anishinaabe Ojibwe people titled Waasa Inaabida: We Look In All Directions that aired in 2001.
Northern Minnesota Medical Association records
The collection consists of minutes, programs, financial statements, and rosters from the Association's annual meetings from 1920-1965, originally contained in two binders.
Oral history methods in research, interviews and documents
This collection contains oral history work from college history courses taught by Professor Mari Trine with a focus on using primary sources and oral history methods in research.
Ross family photograph albums
The collection consists of two photograph albums. The first contains family photos with some descriptive information in the first section of the album. The second contains photos of Minnesota Power and Light installations with dates and descriptions.
George B. Sargent papers
The collection contains correspondence and biographical information, 1869–1900; news clippings concerning George Sargent, 1931–1941; photographs including a portrait of Sargent and an image of his house, 1869–1965; and one scrapbook containing personal correspondence concerning Sargent's life, work, and speeches, news clippings, and some maps, 1851–1875.
Peter Erik Schelin diaries
The diaries are written in the Swedish language; books are missing for years: 1896, 1893, 1918, 1925. A transcription of the 1893 one-year diary is in the biographical file of Peter and Ross Schelin.
Soroptimist Club of Duluth records
The records consists of minutes, membership lists, officers’ reports, and the Guide and Laws of the Soroptimist’s International. There are four scrapbooks containing photographs, citations, clippings and item documenting events and meetings of the club.
St. Louis County Health Department records
The collection consists of publications related to public health issues.

St. Louis County Sheriff's Department Jail Division records
The collection consists of one file of a few loose pages, one volume titled Prison Calendar (June 1871-April 1890) and two record series in bound volumes: Register of Prisoners and Board of Prisoners.
St. Luke's Hospital records
The collection contains annual reports from 1888, 1925, 1926, 1935-1975; news clippings, 1923-1977; pamphlets, publications, letters, and emphemera including two White Caps yearbooks from the graduating nurses classes of 1930 and 1947, a graduation invitation from 1945 listing graduate names, and a 75th anniversary publication with the names of honored employees; and four photographs.
Steamer Winyah log book
The collection contains a ship's log book, June 1933-July 1935, noting route, time and weather conditions of 18 voyages of the Steamer Winyah, a freighter that served commercial fisherman along the north shore of Lake Superior and Isle Royale. Also included is a pamphlet of regulations of the Duluth-Superior harbor.
Swan River Logging Company journal
The collection contains one journal of expense account information for various railway camps including those at Mud Lake, Cass Lake and Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota. Much of the information includes food and equipment expenses.
John Terrass photograph collection
The collection contains 32 black and white silver gelatin images.
Work People's College records
The collection consists exclusively of photographs of students, staff, and faculty of the college.
Writing for the Social Sciences course records
