Papers (1930-1935) of Adam Kattainen, a Finnish American temperance advocate, consist of poems and speeches. Also included are minutes (1942-1943) of the Alango-Field (Minn.) Red Cross.

Jarvenpa's papers include, among a variety of other documents, manuscript drafts of her translations, correspondence, articles, notes on Finnish Americana, and her journals.

Papers consist of a biographical sketch and family history, portrait, unpublished poems, manuscript copy of an essay on W.B Yeats, fellowship application, notes, a letter from Robert Hayden (Consultant in Poetry, Library of Congress), and a tape recording of Anderson reading from 'Lines in Snow' at the Library of Congress in 1978.

Papers of Helmi Dagmar Mattson (1890-1974) include an autobiography; correspondence; diaries; handwritten and typescript articles, plays, poetry and books; records and papers relating to the Northwestern Finnish Historical Society; minutes of meetings of the Mt. Solo Washington Finnish Club; bylaws of the Finnish Workers Association (Portland, Ore.); miscellany; memorabilia; photographs and photograph albums; and scrapbooks.

Papers of Katherine Ruuhela consists of correspondence with Finnish relatives, in which is mentioned a brother who moved from the U.S. to Soviet Karelia; photographs of family members in Finland and in the U.S.; newspaper clippings; a scrapbookof collected poems and articles; a memoir of the Finnish-Russian war; miscellaneous books; a print of Juho Rissanen's painting of a Finnish American homestead; biographies intended for a family history; and miscellany.
